About the site

Shield Maidens of Roe is a political fiction series by Kari Keyes. The books are works of fiction and political satire; some characters and events are inspired by real public figures and current events. Articles on the blog, including those about real people, are commentary and opinion, and we welcome corrections sent to hello@shieldmaidensofroe.com.

Using the site

Please use the site lawfully and respectfully. Do not try to break into it, overload it, collect other people's information from it, or use it to send spam. We may block access if the site is being misused.

Our content

The books, articles, pictures, design and text on shieldmaidensofroe.com belong to Kari Keyes or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may read them, share links to them, and quote short passages with credit and a link back. Please do not copy, republish or sell them without written permission.

Reader programs

The ARC Team, Beta Readers and Street Team are by application. Members agree to the expectations stated on each program's page: honest reviews (nobody is asked to post positively), keeping unpublished manuscripts and advance copies confidential until publication, and sharing launch material only as described. We may remove a member who breaks those expectations, and you may leave at any time by writing to hello@shieldmaidensofroe.com.

What you send us

When you send a message or fill in a form, you confirm that what you send is yours to send and is not unlawful or abusive. We use it as described in the Privacy Policy.

Links to other sites

Links to other sites (shops, social profiles, other websites) are for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or do.

No guarantees

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. Release dates and other plans can change. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the site or relying on it.
